New England Performance Insulation (NEPI) is growing, and we’re looking for hardworking, reliable people to join our team. If you want steady work, hands-on experience, and the opportunity to learn a skilled trade, we want to hear from you. Our team works on residential and commercial insulation projects throughout Fairfield and New Haven County. NEPI specializes in spray foam insulation, fiberglass insulation, cellulose insulation, crawlspace encapsulation, and commercial fireproofing.
Whether you already have experience or are looking to get started in the insulation trade, we’re interested in motivated individuals who take pride in doing quality work.
Available Positions
Spray Foam Installer
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely install open-cell and closed-cell spray foam insulation in residential and commercial projects
- Prepare job sites by masking, sealing, and ensuring ventilation
- Work closely with crew members and supervisors to complete jobs efficiently
Qualifications:
- Experience with spray foam insulation preferred, but willing to train motivated candidates
- Must be comfortable working in attics, crawlspaces, and tight areas
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work on ladders or scaffolding
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Insulation Installer
Key Responsibilities:
- Install fiberglass, cellulose, and spray foam insulation in residential and commercial projects
- Prepare job sites by sealing, covering, and ensuring proper installation conditions
- Work in attics, crawlspaces, basements, and wall cavities as needed
- Follow project specifications and NEPI’s installation standards for quality and efficiency
- Communicate with crew members and supervisors to complete jobs on schedule
Qualifications:
- Experience in insulation, construction, or a related trade preferred (training available for the right candidate)
- Comfortable working in tight or confined spaces and at heights when required
- Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physical, hands-on work
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn
- Please have a valid driver’s license and the ability to work in the United States

General Laborer
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with insulation prep, cleanup, and installation support across job types
- Load and unload materials, set up equipment, and help maintain safe job sites
- Support spray foam and fiberglass crews with tasks like taping, sealing, and organizing
- Follow directions from crew leaders and learn multiple areas of the trade
Qualifications:
- Prior construction or general labor experience preferred, but not required
- Willingness to learn and work in a physical, hands-on environment
- Able to lift 50+ lbs and work in varying weather and indoor conditions
- Please have a valid drivers license and the ability to work in the United States

Sales Assistant
Sales Assistant (Part-Time or Full-Time):
We're looking for a motivated and organized Sales Assistant to work directly with the founder and support our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys communicating with customers, staying organized, and helping keep the sales process running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
- Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries.
- Assist with scheduling appointments and coordinating follow-ups.
- Prepare and organize sales documents, quotes, and customer information.
- Maintain accurate customer records and update internal systems.
- Support the President with day-to-day sales and administrative tasks.
- Provide excellent customer service before, during, and after the sales process.
- Collaborate with the team to help improve efficiency and customer experience.
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Comfortable using computers and learning new software.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude, dependable, and detail-oriented.
- Previous sales, administrative, or customer service experience is a plus, but not required.
